Hormone balancing hot chocolate. Recipe
To be honest my hormones have been 'playing up' since the day I've got my first ever period! I was always that teen with bad skin breakouts and pretty low self-esteem as a result.
In my adult years and thanks to educating myself on nutrition and holistic health (thanks IIN) I have gained pretty good control over this issue. Until recently when I gave birth to my beautiful mini-me, Indigo.
The combination of Pregnancy and now breastfeeding plus lack of sleep and eating waaayyy to many carbs have my hormones in an absolute state of madness! And I am the only one to blame | Ha!
I am currently taking action and executing my plan of action to bring things back into alignment. If I am succeeding, I will most certainly share with you the exact steps I am taking...
But for now, I thought I'll share with you this quick and super easy Hot Chocolate which really is more a health tonic kinda thing. I am obsessed!!
This makes *one cup:
+ 2 tsp Raw Cacao
+ 1 tsp Maca
+ 1 tsp Hemp Seeds
+ 1/2 tsp Jing Powder by Super Feast
+ 1/2 cup Hot Water
+ 1/2 cup Coconut Milk
Put everything into your cup then add hot water about halfway, stir well. Top it up with your nut milk of choice, I use coconut milk. Do not use soy for this recipe.
